Meet Mercy Mutai, Staff Accountant
Mercy Mutai is our staff accountant here at Maryland Hard Money Lenders. She has over four years of experience in the finance sector.
Mercy’s main responsibilities in her role at MHML include bookkeeping and maintaining general ledgers, processing loans and transactions, ensuring full reconciliations, providing insights and recommendations to support business decisions. In addition, she participates in system and process improvement – all while keeping abreast of changes in legal regulations.
A Day in the Life of Mercy Mutai
Mercy is responsible for a number of tasks at MHML. First, she starts the day by reviewing her previous day’s activities, checking emails, and handling any urgent tasks.
Then, in the afternoon, she processes transactions, reconciles accounts, attends meetings, and works on any needed reports. Finally, she works on process improvements, wraps up tasks, reviews accomplishments, and plans for the next day.
