Meet Tasha Skelton, Director of New Business
Tasha Skelton is our Director of New Business here at Maryland Hard Money Lenders. She has over ten years of experience in real estate, with a strong background in sales and customer service.
Tasha’s main responsibilities in her role at MHML include lead generation for investors, real estate agents, and local lenders. Additionally, she follows up with past leads to assess their current needs, prequalifies borrowers, and collects required documentation. Finally, she’s responsible for cultivating relationships between borrowers and processors to ensure a smooth lending process.
A Day in the Life of Tasha Skelton
Tasha is responsible for a number of tasks at MHML. She starts her day by checking emails and messages from the night before. Then, she continues on her day by reaching out to potential borrowers, nurturing leads, and searching MLS for fix and flip properties.
Another large part of Tasha’s job includes connecting with listing agents to introduce herself and tell them a bit about what MHML offers. She’s also responsible for engaging with cold leads and building relationships with other real estate professionals.

There are several great things about working at MHML. However, one of Tasha’s favorite parts of the job includes networking and helping borrowers build wealth through real estate. She also enjoys assisting new investors and individuals in starting their real estate journey.

- When you’re not in the office, what do you like to do? – “I like to sell real estate in MD and PA; I have three sons- Roman, Lincoln, and McGregor. They are all very active and keep me on my toes.”
